Our office is here to service the needs of our community. The Constituency office is open daily - Monday through Friday, except holidays. I encourage my constituents to visit the office and discuss their problems in a secure and confidential setting. My Constituency Assistants, Carole Perkons and Maxine Maxwell will be happy to assist you.

I try to keep Mondays free as "Constituency Day". Constituents are asked to telephone my office and make an appointment to visit with me to discuss your issues, problems and complaints in person.

We offer many services on a personal and community basis. The following is a partial list of services: Commissionaire of Oaths and Notary Public (This service is offered free of charge and is offered the hours that the office is open), free fax service in the local area, Canada Pension Disability Application and Appeal Assistance, A wide selection of forms are being kept on hand for government programs, information pamphlets and booklets on programs and services, fuel rebate forms, application for passports, housing grants, property and taxes. Many of the forms can be downloaded from the internet, however, if you do not have access to the internet we will provide the forms for you.

We keep information pamphlets and booklets on such things as the Legislative Page
Program, Insurance and Non Profit Organizations, Guides for Private Well Owners,
as well we have reports on various studies, government magazines, etc that constituents
can pick up and/or borrow at no cost to them.

I host two events every year: January Open House and Seniors’ Spring Tea.

I publish a Newsletter entitled "Community News" and I will advertise your special event if I get advance notice. I also keep a white board in the office window announcing any special events.

I encourage constituents who are having special birthdays and/or anniversaries to get in touch with the office so that a special certificate can be ordered for you. As well, we will forward the request to the Protocol Office so that the applicable Councillor or Member of Parliament can issue a similar type of certificate. In some cases the Queen, Governor General and Lieutenant Governor will also issue congratulatory messages.
